1. Covered Assets
This policy covers source code, compiled binaries, installers, app packages, update manifests, appinstaller files, Discord bot commands, OAuth flows, desktop-link flows, admin tools, shard tooling, support processes, route authorization logic, packet envelope formats, protocol identifiers, relay routing design, state persistence, diagnostics, website copy, screenshots, visual assets, and support identities.
It also covers session tokens, shard tokens, bridge tokens, signed link tokens, entitlement checks, route tokens, token hashing, token exchange, token revocation, and any related trust boundaries or credential systems.
2. Reserved Rights
Star-Comms LLC reserves all copyright, trademark, service mark, trade dress, trade secret, patent, contract, database, domain, software, protocol, infrastructure, and other rights in and to Star Comms, including rights that are registered or unregistered, issued, pending, later-filed, or otherwise available under applicable law.
3. Authorized Use
End users may run official Star Comms client builds solely to connect to official Star Comms services. Discord server administrators may use the official Star Comms Discord bot solely to configure Star Comms for servers they are permitted to administer. Dedicated shard operators may run authorized shard software only under a valid written Star-Comms LLC shard, support, beta, enterprise, or operating agreement.
4. Prohibited Use
Except with prior written permission from Star-Comms LLC, you may not copy, publish, redistribute, sell, sublicense, lease, host, mirror, modify, fork, rebrand, reskin, white-label, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract, emulate, bypass, or create derivative works from Star Comms.
You may not build, train, operate, advertise, or support a competing or confusingly similar service using Star Comms code, protocols, workflows, names, infrastructure design, screenshots, marks, documentation, or token systems.
You may not generate, forge, replay, tamper with, sell, share, or misuse Star Comms session tokens, shard tokens, entitlement data, bridge tokens, route tokens, update-channel metadata, registry identities, package identities, Discord application identities, or support identities.
5. Trademarks and Branding
Star Comms, StarComms, Star-Comms, and related names, logos, product marks, service marks, visual identities, and trade dress are proprietary marks of Star-Comms LLC. You may not use them in software names, bot names, package names, domains, repositories, social profiles, ads, screenshots, storefront listings, support pages, or documentation in a way that implies ownership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation not approved by Star-Comms LLC.
6. Patent, Protocol, and Token Rights
Star-Comms LLC reserves all patent and patent-related rights, including rights in issued patents, pending patent applications, continuations, future filings, and protectable inventions related to Discord-linked voice network discovery, role-gated radio-net administration, live assignment flows, session and shard tokenization, UDP voice routing, bridge migration, packet fan-out, route validation, listener indexing, update trust, and backend coordination protocols.
No patent license is granted unless a written agreement signed by Star-Comms LLC expressly grants one.
7. Infrastructure, Keys, and Secrets
Star Comms infrastructure, domains, TLS configuration, proxy rules, DNS layout, deployment scripts, environment variables, secrets, tokens, session material, shard credentials, entitlement data, and operational logs are confidential and proprietary unless Star-Comms LLC publishes them for public use.
If you discover exposed secrets, unauthorized infrastructure access, token leakage, or a bypass, report it through the official support channel immediately.
8. Third-Party Components
Third-party components included with or referenced by Star Comms remain subject to their own licenses. Third-party licenses do not grant rights to Star Comms proprietary code, marks, protocols, infrastructure, tokens, or service content.
9. Enforcement
Star-Comms LLC may suspend, revoke, block, rate-limit, disable, rotate, or terminate access to Star Comms systems, tokens, shards, downloads, APIs, Discord bot functions, or support channels for suspected misuse, infringement, security risk, abuse, or violation of this policy.
